Our Initiatives

We have an entire range of sustainable products available and are committed to extending this range, to provide innovative sustainable packaging solutions for our customers.
Responsible product sourcing. We look for and use suppliers with sustainable certifications.
We are working towards a paperless office. Records are kept electronically, and office paper usage is kept to a minimum.
In conjunction with local, national and other agencies, we promote and raise awareness of good environmental management policies and practices amond staff and other stakeholders.
We recycle as many materials used as possible. We also encourage our customers to do the same by providing information about recycling services available in NZ.
Our entire pallet wrap range can be recycled, with many of the products being manufactured from recycled material.

Today all our PPE products go into the ground.

As fence posts.

At Primepac, we’re making sure that our PPE products go on to have a new life, protecting the environment. We pride ourselves on looking after our customers, but we also have an ongoing commitment to protecting our local environment, and the future of our planet.

Now we’re proud to play our part in an exciting new initiative to minimise the amount of plastic waste that ends up in our soil, oceans and rivers. Find out more here

We are actively looking at ways to reduce the volume of resources we use and the amount of materials that end up in our landfills. One initiative is working closely with Future Post, who are converting our waste plastics into fence posts. The sustainable choice logo was developed by Primepac to help customers identify sustainable products to align with their own environmental policy. Any products with this emblem are either:

  • Compostable
  • Degradable
  • Biodegradable
  • Recyclable
  • Reusable
We also have started a Green Sticker Project to help educate our customers on how to correctly dispose of our products. View it here
