Warehouse Stationery

As one of New Zealand’s most well-known stationery suppliers, Warehouse Stationery has been providing office supplies since the early 90s. Their website boasts a range of different products available across multiple categories including office supplies, school supplies, fashion stationery, technology, furniture, arts & crafts, as well as print and copy services. Warehouse Stationery is part of the Warehouse Group, owned mostly, by Sir Stephen Tindall.

Launching their website in 2001 as an extension of their retail store offering, Warehouse Stationery customers are now able to order their office and school supplies online and then choose to either get these delivered, or collect their order themselves via ‘click & collect’. Looking at the delivery information featured on Warehouse Stationery’s website, standard deliveries will take between 2-4 business days with exclusions for bulky items, public holidays and rural delivery (which could take an extra 5 days). It’s important to note that Warehouse Stationery only delivers within New Zealand.

Another consideration when ordering through Warehouse Stationery is the cost. Free delivery only applies to orders over $46, anything under and you will need to pay a delivery fee of $6.90. Oversized items have a flat delivery fee of $25 per item.

OfficeMax

OfficeMax delivery information

OfficeMax markets themselves as a one-stop shop for office supplies, solutions and services as well as workplace products and furniture. Their story in New Zealand begins over a century ago via Whitcoulls and, through various mergers and acquisitions, OfficeMax has grown over the years from selling a mix of school and office supplies, to solely focusing on office and workplace products – everything from pens and copy paper right through to furniture. As it currently stands OfficeMax is now a subsidiary of US-based ODP Corporation based in Florida.

Like Warehouse Stationery, OfficeMax products can also be purchased in-store or ordered via their website to be delivered to your door. For delivery of standard products, OfficeMax advertises a delivery window of between 2-4 business days (the same as Warehouse Stationery), for orders placed before 5pm (Monday to Friday). Anything classed as a dangerous product will take an extra 4-6 days and any orders being sent to a rural address must allow for an extra 3 days, a two-day reduction on Warehouse Stationery’s rural delivery.

OfficeMax offers free delivery for orders over $50; for orders under $50 there is a delivery fee of $6.67 (this may be subject to change depending on large bulky products, dangerous goods or furniture items).
