Primepac holds regular internal fundraisers to raise funds for this event, which helps those in need and raises awareness of those suffering from cancer.
Daffodil Day symbolises hope for all New Zealanders impacted by cancer. Since 1990, this iconic event has inspired people to come together and support the Cancer Society’s work.
Donations go towards providing a wide range of support services, education and awareness programs, plus finding vital research into the causes and treatment of all types of cancer.
Daffodil Day is an annual event held across New Zealand that provides an opportunity for people to come together and raise money for cancer awareness and treatment. There are a number of ways that you can contribute:
Volunteer:
Volunteering is a great opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people, all while making a difference. The Cancer Society needs around 8,000 volunteers each year throughout the country to help ensure Daffodil Day is a success.
Fundraise:
There is no shortage of ways that you can fundraise for the Cancer Society of New Zealand – just use your imagination and make a difference! Every dollar counts and goes towards supporting the many people touched by cancer. You Can for Cancer provides all of the information you need for creating your own fundraiser.
Fresh Daffodils:
The Cancer Society sells bunches of fresh daffodils direct to your business or door step. As well as raising funds for the Cancer Society, these flowers will also help to raise awareness of Daffodil Day.
